Learn more about…
Lynnly Wood, MA
The word “fat” owned me for nearly four decades. I was put on my first diet at the age of 10, and it took 20 more years for me to finally shed the shackles of diets and learn to live my one, true beautiful life. This led me to want to help others on this journey. My personal philosophy of coaching is to help clients add more. As dieters, we have spent so much time restricting, eliminating, counting, cutting, measuring, tracking . . . so, with my clients I focus on adding more good things. More joyful movement, more health promoting behaviors, more vegetables, more JOY.

My qualifications
Masters of Arts in Education
I have a Master’s in Education from Otterbein University and was a teacher for 15 years in underserved areas. Now, I am a Food Freedom Coach, graduating with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. I am certified in Psychological First Aid and have taken several trauma trainings. I’m also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
Let’s Get Personal
I’m a mom to a beautifully blended family with 4 kids and 2 adorable dogs. I love watching football and basketball. Yoga is my favorite way to joyfully move my body, followed closely to a walk in a beautiful park–and the dogs love to participate in both! I am an avid reader, and I love to crochet.
