About Nourished Soul
Welcome to healing
Nourished Soul Center for Healing is a team of down-to-earth, passionate providers offering therapy, nutrition, and psychiatric services—both virtually and in-person. We’re a group of therapists, dietitians, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner who believe healing happens best when care is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to you.
Our therapists bring a mix of classic approaches (like CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy) and more “outside-the-box” tools like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and somatic (body-based) work.
Our dietitians take a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach that focuses on nourishment, not restriction. No weird food rules. No shame. Just support that helps you build a peaceful relationship with food and your body—because eating should be joyful.
A little backstory…
After years as a solo therapist, Cherie Miller, LPC-S, IEDS, founded Food Freedom Therapy in 2020—and soon realized the need for a full team who shared her vision. One amazing hire turned into several, and before long, the practice grew to include multiple specialties. In 2022, we became Nourished Soul Center for Healing to reflect the bigger picture: a place where clients can heal their minds, bodies, and souls in one connected, compassionate space.
We are located in Southlake, Texas. Our office is convenient for people in the Colleyville, Keller, Grapevine, Flower Mound, Lewisville, Hurst, North Richland Hills and surrounding areas. We also offer virtual therapy, nutrition counseling. and medication management to anyone residing in Texas!
About our clients
Who We Serve
We support people navigating all kinds of life stuff—whether that’s anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, eating disorders, addiction, or the unique challenges that come with being a woman.
We also offer couples and family counseling, because let’s be real: relationships can be beautiful and hard. In this work, we don’t just focus on one person—we treat the couple or family as the client. Whether you’re untangling communication issues, navigating parenting challenges, or rebuilding trust after a tough season, we’re here to support your relationship as a whole and help you strengthen connections.
For clients seeking a faith-based perspective, some of our providers offer the option of Christian-integrated care, blending clinical excellence with spiritual sensitivity. This approach is always client-led and grounded in respect for each person’s unique beliefs and values.
Wherever you are in your journey—whether you’re thriving, surviving, or somewhere in between—you don’t have to figure it all out alone. We’re here to walk with you, with curiosity, compassion, and zero judgment.
